LWA 2007 - Halle/Saale
Workshop-Week: Lernen-Wissen-Adaption, 24.-26.9.2007
Welcome to the joint workshop event "Lernen, Wissen und Adaptivität" (Learning, Knowledge, and Adaptability), which will be held from Sep. 24-26, 2007 in Halle, Germany. Like the years before, the LWA will host several interesting workshops organized by different interest groups of the German Society for Informatics (GI). They will provide insights to actual trends, technologies, applications, and, most important, a forum where established and beginning researchers can share their ideas. We believe that the last issue makes this event different from others and would like to encourage particularly students, beside delegates from universities, research institutes, and industry, to submit their contribution to the workshop of interest.
The workshops of this years LWA will be organized by the following special interest groups
- FG-ABIS (Adaptability and User Modelling in Interactive Software Systems)
- FG-IR (Information Retrieval)
- FG-KDML (Knowledge Discovery, Data Mining and Machine Learning)
- FG-WM (Knowledge Management)
- FG-BIOINF (Bioinformatics)
For further information please visit the web pages of each group by following the links on the left side. There you will also find the Call for Papers as it becomes available. In general, workshop language will be German but it is in the organizers responsibility to accept contributions of others languages as well. However, you may want to check this in advance.
